Miles "Pudge" Halter is done with his safe life at home. His whole life has been one big piece of nothing, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave "the Great Perhaps" even more. He heads off to sometimes crazy and boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School. His life becomes the opposite and is never the same. Right down the hall lives a girl named Alaska Young. She's very smart, beautiful, but also dangerous. Fascinating at times but, she pulls Miles to her world and takes his dorky, boring self into a dangerous, but daring person and then after that he's never the same.

(By the way, read the book for more adventure!)

Also here's his blog!!!

This song reminds me of Alaska because she gets this shock of fear of her mother's death and that triggers her guiltiness and blame, that causes her to smoke and drink. Her emotions causes her to do these bad things, it also makes her depressed. Alaska can be obssesed between life and death ; I think that it plays with her severe emotions making her a hot mess.

This song is just flat out amazing. This song talks about the events that happened in the book and how Alaska was free to do anything in the world. But I think that if you don't care alot about life you might just collapse and hurt yourself. This song decribes what Alaska went through and the outcome of it.

Through the suffering Alaska still goes through depression. In the book she gets really drunk and drives to her mother's grave. At the highway she see's a truck and a cop car with flashing lights blocking the lanes and she instantly dies. This song relates somewhat about what she does.

This song reminds me of Alaska because she was born to die! Ever since her mother passed away she started doing drugs and alcohol and she just was gone. And this relates to her because she was born to die in the bitternes of her life.

I picked this song for Pudge A.K.A. Miles because he loved Alaska. He always looked up to her somehow even though she made him do drugs and stuff like that. But he really loved so that's why  picked this song.

My Review

I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars because I enjoyed the plot; how the characters developed during the book, I also loved how everything was formated. But the only thing I didn't like about the book was that it had some profanity and some explicit scenes. But, overall the book was amazing!!!! I recommend this book to young adults I think that is the perfect categorie for this book. Read it!!!!!!!!!!
