Louisiana Black bear Is Endangered


The Louisiana black bear is a large,bulky animal with black hair  and a short black tail, with  small black eyes. Adult males weigh 300- 400 pounds and females weigh 120- 180 pounds.

it's Habitat

The Louisiana black was once inhabitant of forests of eastern  Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Curently the louisiana black is with in the state of louisiana.

Reason For Decline

Due to depletion of populations through over harvest by us humans.And loss of frag-mentation of suitable forest.

Recovery/ Conservation

we planed to desine asure long term conservation of the louisiana black bear and it's habitat in louisiana.
