The integumentary system is the system of organs such as the skin and hair that protect us from opposing instances and keep blood and other organs systems inside the body so they do not leak and the organs randomly fall out. Diseases also affect this organ system, skin cancer, acne, eczema, psoriasis. The skins purpose it to protect body and other organs, excrete waste, regulate temperature and also detect pain. It also stores fat, glucose, and vitamin D. The entire weight of the system is 6 lbs.
