Elvis was a born-to-be singer. Known for his amazing guitar playing, he was truly The King of Rock and Roll.

A Mississippi born boy, a rock and roll king. These are all the traits of Elvis Presley. Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8th, 1935 at 4:35 in the morning. When he was around 13 or 14, the family moved to Memphis, Tennessee. He later went to high school at L.C. Humes High. He graduated in 1953, when the next summer, Elvis decided to make a small record as a gift for his mother. When Elvis’ unique voice appeared, Sam Phillips, the manager of Sun Records, was blown away by it. Sam Phillips realized that it was obvious he had to sign Elvis into the contract. Since Sun Records was very interested with his voice, he had made his first recording at Sun Records the next year. Once his recording was processed and ready to be on the radio. He heard himself on the radio for the first time.

Elvis Aaron Presley was a 14 time Grammy award winner. He was famous all over the world, and still continues to be known as "The King of Rock and Roll" or even "Elvis the Pelvis" because of his hip gyrations. When he died in 1977, his popularity never ended. To this day, Elvis Presley has famous impersonators that can speak, sing, and dance exactly like him. Many people enjoyed and still enjoy Presley's music. Presley's music is based off of the bluesy type of music that was most certainly famous in the 1950's. Three years after he graduated high school, he heard himself on the radio for the first time.

The King: Remembered forever

He will always be remembered for his wonderful music. Elvis Presley sang for the homeless people at his church. He was always playing his guitar for his parents as a child, but this man was more than that. He was a hero. From his blues singing, to his instrument playing, he was truly a wonderful person. Elvis Presley's legend will live with us forever.
