Eagles' Learning Takes Flight

ELHS Newsletter - 9.11.14

Welcome to the first edition of our new digital newsletter!  This will be a work in progress, and we welcome any feedback and suggestions.  I begin with the picture of the Eagle, our mascot, and the catch phrase "Eagles' Learning Takes Flight."  We witnessed this motto come to life last year through so many accomplishments.  It's our goal now to grow stronger, connect further, and fly higher in all areas of learning.  We want to see our students, our Eagles, take flight and soar high as prepared graduates, productive citizens, and lifelong learners.  Thanks for your vital role in this flight!

I would also like to say I am honored, humbled, and excited to begin a new journey as the Assistant Principal here at ELHS!  I will still be very much involved with instruction but will take on new responsibilities as well.  Please do not hesitate to ask if I can help in any way.  We have a dedicated family of faculty, staff, students, and community who are committed daily to supporting and empowering each other, so that we all in turn can make East Lawrence High School the best it has ever been.   Proud to be an Eagle!
