1. Collect resources

I often start imagining a student who has no idea how to start studying. Many of them just read the course book pages, others redo some exercises. What other resources do they have available? What other material, which was used in class (like ppts, word documents, videos, audios), could be helpful to students? Make a list with the resources available with links. Files have to be hosted online ( I suggest google drive), so after uploading files to google drive, grab the public link to add to your list.


2. Imagine the background image

What do you want the Study Guide to look like? What image would you like to use as your background? A photo, a wordcloud, a comic strip, a poster, a noticeboard, a shelf, a mindmap? After deciding what kind of image you want, and the app which could help you produce that image, always remember you can take screenshots of whatever you create to be the background image of your Study Guide.

3. Upload image to THINGLINK

Now that you have created your background image and have taken the screenshot, go to https://www.thinglink.com/ to make your image interactive. Upload your image to Thinglink.

4. Tag the image with resources

It's time to add tags to your image, this way when students click the interactive dots they are taken to the resources.

5. Share your interactive Study Guide

You can share the link or embed the interactive image to a blog or send it to students via Edmodo.
