How does the circuit type affect the strand of Christmas Lights with a burned out bulb?
IV= Circuit Type DV= The strand of Christmas Lights with a burned out bulb
If the Christmas lights are arranged in a parallel circuit then when one bulb is removed the other bulbs will stay lit up.
I noticed that all of the lights lit up.
I noticed that when I took out one bulb the other two remained lit up.
If the Christmas lights are arranged in a series circuit then when 1 bulb bursts the other bulbs will not light up.
When I used the series circuit all of the bulbs lit up but they weren't as bright as the strand was with the series circuit.
When I removed one bulb then the other bulbs stopped lighting up.
In conclusion a parallel circuit proved to be the better circuit form the strand of Christmas lights because if one bulb burned out the others were still lit up. When I used the series circuit they all went out. Therefore the parallel circuit proved tobe better.
