About Edmund Kwan
Plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr.
Edmund Kwan has been serving clients from his clinic on Fifth Avenue in
Manhattan. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, he calls
on his extensive training to provide facial bone contouring surgeries
based on client-specific aesthetic preferences. His training included
facial reconstruction at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center. He
attained extensive facial trauma and reconstructive experience at the
Baltimore Shock Trauma Center under Dr. Paul Manson. He served as chief
plastic surgery resident at both New York Presbyterian Hospital -
Cornell Medical Center and Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Kwan is
affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan; Holy Name
Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey; and New York Hospital Queens.
Dedicated to sharing his medical knowledge with the next generation of physicians, Dr. Edmund Kwan instructs medical students and residents at two of the city’s major teaching institutions, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College. He also supports several charitable endeavors, raising money for the Korean American Community Foundation, giving free mammograms at Holy Name Medical Center, and mentoring students and providing tuition support at his alma mater, Georgetown University. Additionally, Dr. Edmund Kwan travels to Honduras every year on a medical mission. He donates his time and money to help build schools and medical clinics in Hobduras.
