The significance of Spindletop is that it as Texas first big Boom. Spindletop produced 73 percent of production in Texas that year. Spindletop was also import to Texas history because it really made the business. Spindletop also shaped the century

The discovery of oil affected Texas State majorly. Oil started driving the economy of the state. Oil affects the economy more than the rail road. The impact of oil on Texas is often analyzed in terms of corporate development, and the overall economy of the state and politics.

Oil affects the world because we need oil for everyday life. Texas became the United States’ leading crude oil producing state in 1928.

Oil helped the schools a lot. The Oil helped the schools by bringing people to towns. Spindletop town grew overnight. A small town football team won 5 seasons.
