Sunflowers

By: Carmen

Sunflowers are big beautiful flowers that warm my heart with happiness!

The seeds are almost shaped like triangles. There grey, white, smooth,

and about an inch long. Sunflowers only grow once a year and

the seeds don’t reroute. One single Sunflower, after it dies can produce

200 seeds.

Name: Helianthus annuus cvs.

Size: 4 to 10 feet tall and 18 to 24 inches wide.

Days To Germinate: 7 to 14.

Germination Conditions: Start indoors three to four

weeks before the last frost, or direct-sow after all danger of

frost has passed.

Seed Note: when the flower die’s then cut the flower off of the stem,

and take all The seeds out. Save them for next summer!
