The Rights of the People

Hello my fellow colonists, you are reading this because you are willing to die for this country's freedom, so keep reading on. In this writing, I will describe our life with the King and his soldiers and laws that treat "higher ranked" people more kindly and gently like they are made of fragile glass, yet they treat us , the colonists, like garbage as if we are nothing but worthless trash. If you are a soldier who fought in the French and Indian War, I consider that you choose wisely what team to join next time we encounter England. "For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us." This grievance from the Declaration of Independence is basically saying, "Let soldiers live in our houses." This isn't fair that we must take care of you, let you use all our goods and other stuff, you must be able to take care of yourself and not rely on us all the time, after all, you are soldiers, aren't you trained to take care of yourself? How would you feel if I were to just barge into your house and live their for a couple of months? Outraged right? That is exactly how we, the colonists, feel for having soldiers live in our homes. The soldiers don't know that we struggle the fact that they live in our homes because we fear the outcome if we give the soldiers the boot. This should be changed. "He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us." Since we have the desire to self-govern, he is waging war against us. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!! We want to  self-govern for equal rights between men and women, and rich and poor. This shows that the King is only doing what he thinks is fair, without even an atom's weight of what we think is fair and what is unfair. Imagine that your a soldier, and your brother is a colonist who is in the Continetal Army, if you had the chance to, will you kill him? If you did, then the King has made you nothing but an obedient lab dog. If I were in this situation, I would shoot myself for the bad deeds on my shoulders. "He has kept among us, in times of peace, without the Consent of our legislatures." Can you believe it? He sent you lab dogs to "protect" us when peace is over our atmosphere. Why must you watch our every step when there is no war or arguments? This isn't fair. "He has constrained our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands." He is pinning us against our own family, either you kill, or you get killed. This isn't what you would sign up for would you? You would think that when you signed up, it was to protect your family and server the King. No.... this isn't what a Arm bearer signed up for, you must execute your own friends and family. I hope you have thought clearly on which side you should actually be on, please stray from the King's path and join us for the search for independance. I have nothing to say now, so goodbye.
