"STEREO HEARTS" BY GYM CLASS HEROES

METAPHOR:

"My heart's a stereo" is a metaphor because his heart is not actually a stereo or when he sang,"the last girl who played me left a couple of cracks" because he is referring to himself as a record or a CD.

"A YEAR WITHOUT RAIN" BY SELENA GOMEZ

SIMILE:

"A day without you is like a year without rain" is a simile because it's comparing a day without someone to a year of non-stop rain.

"JUST THE WAY YOU ARE" BY BRUNO MARS

HYPERBOLE:

“ Her eyes, her eyes make the stars look like they’re not shining.” is a hyperbole because Bruno Mars is exaggerating that a girls eyes shine brighter than stars.
