OUR PROJECT

TITLE:

The Crate of Letters.

TOPIC:

Understanding of written texts: Expression and Interaction.

SUBJECT:

First foreing Laguage: ENGLISH.

AGE:

9-10 years.

GOALS:

  1. Describing people, places, objects..
  2. Telling stories in the past or in the present.
  3. Maintaining communication.
  4. Working in groups.
  5. Encouraging creativity.
  6. Investigating new concepts.
  7. Introducing ICT in classroom.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

We are going to carry out four task in order to develop a whole activity focus on telling stories, pieces of news and description. First of all we are going to present an image which children have to describe, using physical and psicological appearance. Secondly, children must find a poster or sign and use it to create a short piece of news. Thirdly, they have to change the meaning of the previous sign and finally, they have to create a story, using the character that they have described before.

  5. Autonomy and personal initiative.

DURATION

We are going to develop this activity during 3 weeks.
