About Emily Grace NY
Part of City University of New York’s Baruch College, Emily Grace serves as associate director of research and development for the school’s Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute. In this role, Grace investigates issues related to urban real estate by writing and editing research reports and white papers. Her responsibilities include producing marketing materials, representing Baruch College at professional events, and overseeing the institute’s website. Her requests for proposals for an advanced energy performance project earned the school nearly $500,000 in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and the NY State Energy Research and Development Authority. Additionally, Emily Grace coordinates conferences that feature renowned speakers.
To prepare for her career, Grace obtained a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Clemson University. Subsequently, she earned a master of science in technology management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a master of business administration in finance from Auburn University. Remaining connected to her alma maters, she is a donor to some of their programs. Some of the other groups that benefit from her contributions include Joffrey Ballet School and Friends of the High Line, which maintains a New York City park located on a former elevated railroad spur.
