What is a business?

Business is an organisation where goods are sold, bought or exchanged.

What is a customer?

A customer is a person buying goods.

What is a supplier?

A supplier is someone that provides you with things you need.

What is a consumer?

A consumer is a person who ultimately uses a product.


What is a market research?

The action or activity of gathering information about consumers' needs and preferences.

What is a primary research? Give some example.

Primary research is any type of research that you go out and collect yourself, e.g questionnaire, tally etc.

What is a secondary research? Give some examples.

Secondary research involves the summary, collation and/or synthesis of existing research rather than primary research.

What is a qualitative research?

Qualitative research is a method of inquiry employed in many different academic disciplines, traditionally in the social sciences, but also in market research and further contexts.

What is a quantitative research?

Quantitative research is about asking people for their opinions in a structured way so that you can produce hard facts and statistics to guide you.
