Enthusiasm-intense and eager enjoyment
I used Alvin and the Chipmunks as an example of an enthusiastic leader. Alvin, the leader of the three chipmunks is by far the most enthusiastic. He is easy to like because of his passion toward everything. His loud personality sets him apart from Theodore and Simon, but ultimately they look up to Alvin. If he wasn't the leader of the three it wouldn't be called Alvin and the Chipmunks, it would be called Theodore and the Chipmunks.
I used the high school football player, Apollos Hester because of his enthusiastic speech he gave to a reporter after a game. This video went viral because of his "can do" attitude that motivated people through their day. He obviously helped his team out by scoring one touchdown in the game but maybe it was his positivity that helped his team more.
For my next enthusiastic leader I used former ESPN anchor Stuart Scott. He brought his loud, rambunctious and enthusiastic personality to ESPN which helped him become one of the most loved people in sports. While he was shooting for ESPN he was diagnosed with cancer but that didn't change his personality. He was still able to brighten peoples day with his enthusiastic ways. He had a famous quote which says " You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live". This quote shows how Stuart used his enthusiastic outlook to lift peoples spirit and fight cancer.
For my next enthusiastic leader I chose Rob Gronkowski. Being from New England, we all should know Gronk. He's the number one tight end in the professional football league and he plays for the Pats. Gronk is a goofy guy. He isn't afraid to act enthusiastically and in some cases, childish. This does not take away from his leadership that he provides when it comes to game time. He is able to dominate the game, and he was able to help lead the Patriots to win the Superbowl this year. His enthusiastic ways make him a fan favorite as well as earning his teammates respect.
For my last enthusiastic leader I chose President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He was the leader of our country in the 60's at a time of unrest when we needed upbeat leadership to help guide us. JFK had many people looking up to him and his speeches rallied America. His enthusiastic and charismatic personality made him well liked throughout our nation and the world.
