"There are more than 60 million girls around the world who are not in school"

President Obama, First Lady Michelle, and the U.S. Government are expanding a program called Let Girls Learn to promote girls receiving an education. Their goal is to promote it all over the world but for the first year they will visit 11 countries. Government programs like Peace Corps and USAID are going to be aiding. The Peace Corps will be in communities doing hands on jobs and USAID will provide teaching materials like textbooks, school supplies, uniforms, starting classes for teachers, etc..

"We cannot allow these challenges to rob generations of young women of their future."
