Talk to your parents about what you learned from listening to this story. Some questions to focus on may include: Does everyone get angry? How do you feel when you get angry? What does your face look like when you get angry? What do you think you can do when you are angry?

You will read or listen to the article titled "Taking Charge of Anger" with your parent(s). Identify and discuss reason why you may get angry and things you can do to help you control your anger. During class, we will share and talk about things that may happen to make us feel angry and we will learn some coping skills we can use to manage that anger.

Week 3: Download a QR reader app on your iPad, iPhone or other electronic device. You will scan the following QR code to view and listen to the story written by Mercer Mayer. When we meet for or our guidance lesson this week, you should be ready to explain how the character could have reacted differently to situations when he was angry.

Week 4: Using the internet, you will visit EDpuzzle.com to view a video about how a brother and sister react and handle their anger. You will be required to sign in as a new student, fill out the four required fields to sign up. You will then click on the button where it says "Join new class". Enter the class code: dN0VLL (make sure you type in the number 0 and not the letter O). Click the start button and view the video! The video will require you to reflect on the plot of the story by listening to some of my comments or answering some simple questions. I hope you enjoy! We will finish our study on anger management during our next meeting.
