#1 check the scene,ask them if i can help and tell them tht u are trained in first aid.
#2 send somebody to call 911
#3 apply direct pressure using gauez or the other barrier.
#4 pressure the bandage - apply more dressings if needed.
#5 recheck the capillary refill, skin color, and skin temp,to make sure that the bandage isnt to tight .
#1 check the scene ( do not enter an unsafe scene)
#2 check if the patient is responsive and normal breathing (tap on the collar bones and shout . Look at the face and chest for breathing.
#3 Compressions push hard and fast. 30:2. At a rate of at least 100 per min. Use 2 hands place the heel of your hand in the center of the chest.
#4 Airway- tilt the chin. Look in the mouth for any forien objects.
#5 Breathing- give 2 breaths lasting 1 sec. each
#6 Unconious choking- After attempting 2 breaths that dont go in, reposition the dead sand try again, do cycle again.
#7 AED- CPR should be provided immedietly untill an AED is available and reasy to
#1 check scene dont enter if not safe.
#2 tap the patient on the collar bones and shout, look at face and chest for breathing.
#3 (if completly alone) Go activate EMS after 5 cycles for 2 min. of CPR.
#430:2 At a rate of at least 100 per min. use 2 hands, place heel of the hand and other on top in the center of chest . At least 1/3 deep of the chest.
#5 tilt chin lift, look for forien objects.
#6 Give 2 breaths lasting 1 sec. each
#7 Child pads attenuator should be used for infants to 8 yrs old. If not available use adult pads. Dont let pads touch together
