How does earth move in space?
Earth moves through space in two mayor ways rotation and revolution. Rotation is the spinning of earths axis. Revolution is the movement of one object around each other.
What causes the cycles of the seasons on earth?
The cycles of the seasons on the earth is caused by the tilt on the earths axis and the rotation of the earth. The tilt causes the seasons because their would be different temperatures because the heat rays won't reach in some places.

What determines the strength of the force of gravity between two objects?
Gravity is a force that attracts all objects toward each other. What determines the force is the push or pull between the two objects.

The two factors the combine to keep the moon and earth in orbit are inertia and gravity. Inertia is the tendency of an object to resist a change in motion. Gravity is a force that attracts all objects toward each other

What causes the phases of the moon?
Phases are the different shapes of the moon you see from earth. The phases are caused by changes in the relative positions of the moon, earth, and the sun.
What are solar and lunar eclipses?
Solar eclipses occurs when a new moon blocks your view of the sun. A Lunar eclipse occurs at a full moon when earth is directly between the moon and the sun.
What causes tides?
Tides are caused mainly by differences in how much the moon's gravity pulls on different parts of the earth.
What features are found on the moon's surface?
The moon Surface is covered by Craters, Maria, and highlands.
What are some characteristics of the moon?
The moon is dry and airless. compared to earth, the moon is small and has large variations in it's surface temperature.
How did the moon form?
Scientist theorize that a planet-sized object collided with earth to form the moon.
