About Ethan Bondick
An accomplished student and traveler, Ethan Bondick has visited a broad range of cultural and historic destinations. He has hiked the slopes of Machu Picchu, toured the French palace of Versailles, and swum with tropical penguins in the Galapagos Islands. In addition, Ethan Bondick has traveled to within 400 miles of the geographic North Pole, where he walked with reindeer and witnessed a polar bear hunting on the ice. He has set his sights on Mt. Kilimanjaro for his next major expedition, where he will climb to heights of over 14,000 feet in a fund-raising effort for the Heading Home outreach organization.
Ethan Bondick volunteers regularly with Heading Home's Up and Out program, through which students prepare an apartment for residents who are moving out of shelter housing. He also volunteers at a local organic farm, trains extensively as an athlete, and excels in math and science. A member of his school's varsity tennis team, Ethan Bondick plays competitively in tournaments for his school. He also enjoys skiing and swimming, and he holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. An avid reader in his free time, he favors fantasy novels that spark the imagination.
