When Columbus began his explorations , others joined in , and it led to the Columbian Exchange. Soon many items from the "Old World" ( Europe, Asia, and Africa) were appearing in the "New World" (North and South America. Later, New World items appeared in the Old World.
This item has been cultivated in an ever-widening area since ancient times. But it came from the New World. The location that these are mostly found in is Florida.
Chocolate is another source that came from the New World. But the thing is Sugar is needed to make it . Sugar came from the Old World. This is the perfect example of exchange.
Horses came from the Old World. They are a big impact on the New World. They help us with transportation and many other ways,
Honeybees came from the Old world. They are now found in the New World in many places. They are a big impact on our environment during the spring.
Vanilla came from the New World. It was exchanged with the Old World. It also affects our environment in many ways.
