An Animal Cell is like an Amusement Park
Cell Analogy Project- Jordan McCue
The ticket booth is like the cell membrane because it controls what goes in and out of the park
Cytoplasm is like the park grounds because it holds everything.
The Nucleus is like Management building in the park because the nucleus controls everything.
The mitochondria is like the electrical boxes and power systems within the park because the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
Endoplasmic Reticulum is like the warehouse of the park because it stores and makes proteins.
Ribosomes is like the construction of the roller coasters because they create protein for the cell.
The golgi apparatus is like the announcers and speakers, because they receive and transmit messages.
Lysosomes are like the bathrooms and trash cans because they breakdown and get rid of waste.
Peroxisomes is like the first aid team because it breaks down fatty acids to help keep the cell healthy.
The cell's flagella is like a roller coaster's tracks because it controls movement, and obviously one of the only things in the park that moves is a roller coaster on it's tracks.
The Centrioles are like the lines for a roller coaster because they separate people from the fast lane and the normal lane, it divides the people.
