Inventions of the 1940's-1950's

Here are some inventions of the 1940's-1950's and the impact they had on society.
- The first credit card was invented by Ralph Schneider in 1950. The impact it had is it has made buying things easier so every time we need to buy something we don't need to carry cash.
- The hovercraft invented by Christopher Cockerell in 1956. The impact it had was for us to travel in water and made things easier.
In 1945, the atomic bomb was invented.The impact it had was on war and the warfare was never the same. More deadly weapon to use killed many people at once.
1n 1959, the Barbie Doll was invented. Barbie is a children’s toy and she was the ideal role model for all girls, or so it seemed. She was perfectly skinny, had a perfect boyfriend and family, perfect hair, perfect house. The impact it had is on children mostly and to give a ideal perfect girl.
In 1941, the first Superman movie which was an animated cartoon was debuted. The impact it had was our entertainment now is mostly movies and the first animated movie was huge.
Ray Kroc started McDonalds in 1954. The impact it had is, it is the biggest fast food corrporation in the world. It has made billions of dollars.
