How does riding a horse improve your fitness?

Riding horses improves your fitness by making your thighs stronger. Horse riding improves your fitness also by offering a great workout for both the mind and body. It also improves concentration, reflexes, muscular strength, and ability to control the horse.

To get prepared for riding, you have to have strong arms, so if the horses misbehaves you can correct the horse. You also must have a strong lower back because when you are riding it will be very hard on your back. You could get hurt worse if you already have a bad back.

Another thing you might want to do is make sure you are in good physical shape or you will run out of energy way faster than someone in good shape.
