HOW IS heat transfered
heat is thermal energy within an object. it can be transferred, or moved, in three ways: Convection, conduction, and radiation.
Conduction is the process of heat transferring from one object to another. You can see the heat from the pot handle is being transferred to the person's hand. Convection is the transfer of heat through liquid or gas. You can see the warm water rises, and the cool water replaces it. Radiation is the transfer of heat through electromagnetic waves which move through space. You can see the heat waves from the fire are warming the pot up.
