Adult C.P.R

Steps for Adult C.P.R

1. Check scene and make sure it is safe.

2. Check the person/victim

3. Call Emergency Medical Services ( EMS )

4. Put two hands on sternum

5. Start 30 compression's about 1 1/2 inches - 2 inches deep at a rate of 100 per minute  

6. Give 2 rescue breaths

7. Repeat process until E.M.S arrives.

Child C.P.R

1. Check the scene to make sure it is safe

2. Check the person/ victim

3. Call Emergency Medical Services ( EMS )

4. Use 1-2 hands for compression's depending on the size of the child

5. Start 30 compression's about 1/3 of the depth of the chest ( 1- 1 1/2 inches )

6. Give 2 rescue breaths

7. Repeat Process until E.M.S arrives


Infant C.P.R

Steps for Infant C.P.R

1. Check the scene

2. Check the Infant by tapping their feet

3. Call Emergency Medical Service ( EMS )

4. Start 30 compression's with 2 fingers at a rate of 100 per minute about 1/3 of the chest. ( 1/2 to 1 inch )

5. Give 2 rescue breaths

6. Repeat process until ( EMS ) arrives.



Adult Unconscious Choking

Steps for Adult Unconscious Choking

1. Check scene for safety

2. Check the person/victim

3. Call 9-1-1

4. Finger sweep and check for object in mouth

5. Give 30 chest compression's

6. Give 2 rescue breaths

7. Repeat process until ( EMS ) arrives

Adult conscious choking

Steps for Adult Conscious Choking:

1. Check the scene and make sure it is safe

2. Call 9-1-1

3. Ask victim if they are choking

4. Place thumb on victims belly button

5. Give 5 thrusts and check if the object has been dislodged


Child Conscious Choking

Steps:

1. Check Scene

2. Call 9-1-1

3. Ask if the person is choking

4. Place thumb on victims belly button

5. Start 5 thrusts and continue if needed and then stop when (EMS) arrives or object has been spit out.


Infant Conscious Choking

Steps for Infant Conscious Choking:

1. Check the scene

2. Call 9-1-1

3. Give 5 back blows

4. Give 5 chest compression's

5. Repeat until (EMS) arrives, the scene is unsafe, you are to exhausted, or someone has taken over

Infant Unconscious Choking

Steps:

1. Check the scene

2. Call 9-1-1

3. Give 30 compression's

4. Give 2 rescue breaths

5. Finger Sweep for object

6. Repeat if necessary.

Bleeding

STEPS:

1. CHECK THE SCENE

2. CHECK THE VICTIM

3. CALL 9-1-1

4. PLACE GAUZE ON PERSON

5. WRAP BANDAGE AROUND INJURED AREA

6. KEEP ELEVATED
