During our PD time together, WE WILL REVISIT 'math/number talk' BEST PRACTICE, DIG DEEPER INTO OUR DATA, PLAN FOR INTERVENTION, AND PREVIEW NEW OPTIONS FOR THE UPCOMING SOCIAL STUDIES TEXTBOOK ADOPTION.

Social Studies Textbook Adoption Review
[We will review the options displayed in the library and make a recommendation.]
Presenters Role: to present relevant research behind best practice, present a model approach for math/number talk, provide time in task and guided learning at learning level.
Participants Role: participate fully with purposeful questions/inquiry, contribute ideas and thoughts on what works/does not work in your classroom. Identify one walk-away goal that you will be able to implement right away.
Data Talk & Intervention plan
We will begin this part of our day together in the library to discuss the parameters and intended outcomes for your team data discussions.
- All interventions for students need to be put in laser focus.
- Chart students on campus Scatter Plots.
- Review job description and schedules for interventionists.
