Social media still contains the humanistic qualities of being “social” it just takes on a different form. Instead of only face-to-face or voice-to-voice interaction, we can use audio, text, images, videos, or simply click a button to “like” something that someone else posted. The key is that each of these multimedia actions have the purpose of sharing our personal thoughts and ideas with others…whether it is with a specific friend, a group, or even the world.
