If you moved to Mesopotamia you would be moving to a society that invented many things. You would be moving to a society that is ruled by great kings. Mesopotamia is located between the Euphrates river and the Tigris river. Mesopotamia has many little city-states, city-states are like there own small independent country. Ur is one of them, where you would be moving.
One advantage of living in Mesopotamia is technology, technology because the Sumerians have created and discovered many artifacts, such as the wheel, the plow, and irrigation systems. These discoveries help the Sumerians live their daily life. Ur, the city-state witch you will be visiting, created cuneiform another example of technology.
Another advantage of living in Mesopotamia is stable food supply. The Sumerians have an easy time keeping a stable food supply. They have built irrigation systems to help them keep a stable food supply. The Sumerians have many inventions to help them keep a stable food supply. To keep a stable food supply the Sumerians would also use agriculture, the business of farming, and trade, the business of buying and selling.
One more advantage of living in Mesopotamia is the religion. In Mesopotamia they have religious temples and ziggurats. Ziggurats are more for the upper class Sumerians. Even though ziggurats are more for upper class people, they still have religious temples for the lower class people. In Sumer they believe in many gods, polytheism. A ritual relating to a ceremony, such as a religious ceremony.
