Sherman's March to see
Fight on my Brothers
Total Warfare was the smartest plan to take Georgia because it put fear in the minds of the citizens. Making their soldiers surrender and retreat to the coast. Sherman using total warfare took Atlanta and Savannah using 50,000 men. On the way to Atlanta and Savannah the men sang "Marching through Georgia" by Henry Clay Work. So total warfare had to be used to get to the coast because the southern army was in defense and it is hard to break a defense.
This march and Hiroshima are the same because both were tactics of total warfare and both killed lots of people.
