Demography

Elisha Hancock

The way my parents raised me has influenced my political views. My mom, who has a two-year degree and is a nutritional supervisor at Memorial Hospital, was born and raised in Logansport, Indiana. This makes her part of the Rust Belt and also places her in the suburban category. My step dad works at Tyson, but he was born and raised in a small town in New York. He grew up in a rural area along the East coast. Though raised completely different, my parents have both impacted my views on politics, leaning me towards a more democratic viewpoint on things.
