Commas Save Lives

There are many different ways commas can be used.

1. When separating phrases that don't need to be there

Ex: My friend, Bronson, is good at football

2.When linking two independent clauses with a conjunction.

Ex: I want to go to my friends house, but I have to finish my chores.

3.When your addressing someone in particular.

Ex: Braedan, did you finish your homework?

4. When making a list.

Ex: My favorite foods are pizza, cake, Mac & Cheese, and chocolate.

5. When you have more than one adjective modifying a noun.

Ex: The awesome, funny Nick.

6. After introductory phrases or clauses.

Ex: If we win this  football game, we will go on to the next one.

7. Dates

Ex: May 16, 1995

8. Letters

Ex: Do good at your football game. Love , Dad

9. Location

Ex: Cumming, GA
