About Firas Rabi

A highly trained medical professional based in Ohio, Dr. Firas Rabi began preparing for his career as a student at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, where he earned a doctor of medicine. He went on to complete post-graduate training in New York City. Dr. Firas Rabi subsequently became a resident in pediatrics at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, where he later performed duties as chief resident. Today, he maintains certification by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.

Dr. Rabi uses his extensive formal training in a variety of roles. As the medical director of the Advance Practice Provider Program in Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University, he helped propel the program to a nationally renowned nurse practitioner program. He has been invited to lecture at a number of national institutions to discuss methods of integrating the functions of nurse practitioners in the world of the pediatric critical care unit. In addition, Dr. Firas Rabi teaches at Indiana University as an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics. He currently treats patients at Northwest Pediatrics in Dublin, Ohio.
