Many Canadians are bilingual which means that they can speak more then one language. Most of them can speak French and English. Road signs official documents, newspapers and other things are written in both English and French.

Francophones are french speaking people from Canada but the way they speak french is slightly different than the way people do in France now.

Canada is rich in natural resources, especially gold.there is good fishingand fur. That is what first attracted the Europeans to come to Canada. Canada's skilled labor force, natural resources, and international trade all contributes to the country's good economy.

The prime minister of canada is stephen harper. Stephen Joseph Harper is a Canadian politician who is the 22nd and current Prime Minister of Canada and the Leader of the Conservative Party. Harper became prime minister in 2006, forming a minority government after the 2006 election.

Pierre Trudeau

Pierre Elliott Trudeau, was the 15th Prime Minister of Canada from April 20, 1968 to June 4, 1979, and again from March 3, 1980 to June 30, 1984.

Civil Rights

The rights in Canada are similar to the Civil Rights in the USA. There are currently four key mechanisms in Canada to protect human rights: the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Canadian Human Rights Act, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and provincial human rights laws and legislation. Canada was the 40th state to allow same sex marriage nationwide.
