Using Sound Editing Software & QR Codes

Students can use sound editing software to create soundtracks to various projects. For example, as an English project, students can create a soundtrack for a novel they are reading in class. The soundtrack would depict the mood or plot of the novel through sound. Once projects are exported as an mp3 file, students can create a visual representation of their project to go along with the audio file in Movie Maker. The video can be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and assigned a QR code. This process can even be used to feature videos of student activities in the yearbook as demonstrated with the QR code below.
