The Goddess of Wisdom

Athena, the goddess of wisdom, is the daughter of the well named Zeus. Also was loved the most of all gods by Zeus. She was born right from the head of Zeus, being fully grown and clad in armor. Without a mother, stories have told that Zeus swallowed Metis, the goddess of counsel, while being pregnant with Athena.

Athena also was the helper towards legendary Greek heroes, in which she usually got gifts after their journeys. For example, the shield with Medusa's face giving the gift to turn people to stone by Perseus. She played important roles in the heroes journey's by giving them supplies from the gods. Examples include Homer's Odyssey, and Homer's Iliad. Also, Zeus gave Athena the rights to control war with Ares by being his most loved child.

Since she was the most loved by Zeus, ironically more than Hera, his wife. Athena was allowed to use all of Zeus's weapons, even his legendary thunderbolt. Being fierce and brave in battle, by only really fighting in battle while in a defending state from outside enemies. Also she was the goddess of handcrafts and agriculture.
