Chilaquiles- Popular traditional breakfast dish. (Features lightly fried corn tortillas cut into quarters, and topped with green or red salsa. With scrambled or fried eggs, and pulled chicken are usually added on top, as well as cheese and cream.)

Climate!

Very hot and dry in the summer but when reaching winter can get to be freezing. At higher elevations, the climate is dry, and the mountain peaks are often capped with snow. The hottest summer extremes are generally found on the coastal plains.

Cinco De Mayo!(The 5th of may)

Mexican army won over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco. The Mexican War (1861-1867). This made the country feel more like a whole. Includes parades, Mariachi music performances and street festivals. And tons of bright colors everywhere you look! Salsa and Margaritas are popular food items during this holiday!
