BY Kyndall & Ila

What role did Pocahontas really play in the history of Jamestown?

Pocahontas brought temporary peace between Jamestown and her people by marrying one of the Colonial leaders named John Rolfe. Pocahontas converted to Christianity changed her name to Rebecea Rolfe and had a son named Thomas and went back to England as a celebrety proving that Indians could be civilized.
