Dr. Francisco Garcini, Gynecologist and Former Member of Army Reserves
About Francisco Garcini
An obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Francisco Garcini has practiced medicine since 1999. After receiving his M.D. in 1995, he completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He then spent a year at the Will County Community Health Center in Joliet, Illinois, as a national health service scholar and attending physician. In 2001, Dr. Francisco Garcini cofounded Partners in Obstetrics & Women's Health in New Lenox, Illinois, where he continues to practice today.
In addition to his medical and educational career, Dr. Francisco Garcini possesses military experience. A member of the Reserve Officer Training Corps during his last two undergraduate years at Boston College, he attended the Infantry Officer Basic Course at Ft. Benning, GA, following graduation. He was a platoon leader and a company executive officer while a graduate student at Boston University. Upon entering a doctoral program at Boston College, he became a support platoon leader and then spent a decade in the Individual Ready Reserves. Dr. Francisco Garcini received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army Reserves in 1998, having attained the rank of infantry captain.
