About Franco Ferraina

With more than 90 career wrestling wins to his credit, Franco Ferraina currently brings his drive to succeed to Drexel University's team, on which he has participated since enrolling in the school during September of 2011. Currently wrestling in the 133-pound division for the Dragons, Ferraina has already recorded several accomplishments for the team. During the final dual match of his freshman year, for instance, he defeated Rutgers University student Vincent Dellefave by a score of 5-3, ending the match with an impressive overtime take down. Franco Ferraina scored one of only a handful of wins for Drexel University during the match against the Scarlet Knights.

Before matriculating to Drexel University, Franco Ferraina wrestled at Nazareth Area High School in Pennsylvania. Aside from enjoying an impressive win-loss record, he garnered distinction as an All American from the National High School Coaches Association, and earned First Team Lehigh Valley All Conference honors. His many hobbies include fishing, hunting, and playing music.
