Dear Momma, War is going okay.. I cant say I like it but it is almost terrible I barely eat, im always dehydrated I cant think of anything. All I think and care about is my life, I have a feeling I will get shot seeing a bullet going in me, the pain killing me the red blood that runs down on me, The sound of innocent people screaming.
The life of a soldier when they were wounded was bad, They often had to wait a lot in order to get medical help or receive any help. They mostly just suffered most of the time. They were sometimes given food when they were eating or sometimes ever thrown water at so their wounds wont get infected. Also soldiers would get a disease from insects or fleas, mosquitoes and that made them really itchy. Then some would go out side to clean there clothes or sometimes one would want to scratch but they were to injured. Half of the time soldiers would die from diseases not from being killed by a weapon rather being killed by a disease. Like diarrhea they just die from to much pain
