What is FCCLA @ The Table?
FCCLA @ The Table is an all-new program this year. Its focus is to have us, the FCCLA members, prepare healthy meals for our family to sit down to. It doesn't have to be a weekly commitment. Because many families are busy and on-the-go, it helps out a lot for you to make a meal, which can give you more life experience for your future family.
What Can You Do?
You can ask your family to allow you to make a meal. You can then go to the FCCLA website and print out a pledge to prepare the meal. Once you have prepared the meal, you can take a picture of it and post it on Instagram and tag @FCCLAatTheTable
The goal for this year is to get 200,000 members to pledge and make meals for their families.
How Do These Correspond?
FCCLA @ The Table is a great way for children to prepare themselves for adulthood and for their future families by making healthy meals for everyone. It also teaches children that many families are on-the-go and too busy for healthy homemade meals and you have to make amends to get the nutrition that you need.
