Robert Randolph

Robert Randolph was also know as Bob Randolph, he was born on the 30th of november 1925 in a place called Centerville in Iowa. He died on the 2nd of march in 2003 in a place called Palm Springs in California . He was 78 when he died of heart failure. He was nominated for 7 tony awatd for his scenic design but never won any. Here are some of the musicals or plays that he did the scenic design for:

-Sweet charity, Seven brides for seven brothers, Parades of stars playing the palace, Little johnny jones, Porgy and bess, The norman conquests, Gypsy, Words and music, Good evening, No hard feelings, 70 girls 70, Ari, Applause, Angela, A teaspoon every four hours, Golden hours, How to be a jewish mother, Henry sweet henry, Sherry, Walking happy, Anya, Skyscraper, Minor miracle, Something more, Amy wednesday, Foxy, Sophie, Little me, Bye bye birdie, Amy wednesday, Sophie, Calculated risk, Heartbreak house, A hole in the head, The desperate hours and The saint of bleeker street.

The shows That Robert randolph was scenic designer for were peformed in venues such as West end and broadway in new york as well as many others.

Robert studied at the state university of Iowa and earned his bachelor and master degrees there, Robert also taught there.

Robert was also the scenic and lighting designer for the tony award show for a number of years.
