Louis Amrstrong

     Louis Armstrong developed a way of playing jazz. He recorded hit songs of five decades and composed dozens of songs that have become jazz standards. Armstrong was very musical. He was also impressive. He made more than sixty records, and also performed an average of three hundred concerts a year. Louis Armstrong was so talented, he appeared in more than thirty films.

Louis Armstrong was born August 4, 1901 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Of course, Armstrong is best known for being a jazz trumpeter. He is one of the most important and influential people in the history of jazz. He was married from 1942 to 1971, till death, to Lucille Wilson. 42 years after Louis Armstrong died, Sharon Preston-Folta announced to the world that she was his daughter that know one knew about. She had letters from him saying how much he loved her. Louis Armstrong died of a heart attack at age 69 from a heart attack.

In the video, Louis Armstrong is playing the trumpet. Trumpets don't usually sound like that because Louis Armstrong is playing really high notes.
