Louis Armstrong had a tough childhood that prevented him from finishing school. While he was in school he got in trouble with a gang. Even when he was eleven he got arrested. Then when he got older he moved to Chicago to join the King Oliver Band. He didn't start playing until 1926. Soon he became famous. Before he even notice he recorded 60 of the most jazz songs. About forty-two years later he adopted his cousin's child. Now in the present Louis was the first American Jazz musician to write an autobiography. During the civil rights moment Louis didn't speak out until the civil rights High School Integration crisis.
My Opinion of Louis Armstrong is that he is kind, and brave and that what he did for the kids. He didn't have to do that he chose that choice on his on. So that is why I admire Louis Armstrong.
