drug trafficking

To me drug trafficking is all about money power and respect. why i said that for is more money you have more power you get and more power you get you get much respect. drug trafficking is not a easy thing you really putting your life in danger. A thing about drug trafficking you may have the money and power and respect but we you get caught you going to have to sever some year in jail. For me after all I'm learned about drug trafficking i cant do it. Don't get me wrong you do make money but we you get caught i just cant sever that time.

The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) make over 30,000 arrests each year.

since 2009 our government has spent $ 31 billion on drug control. Drug trafficking makes up most of the organized crime in the U.S unfortunately, the only way to stop it are to decrease the sales or demand of the drug or tighten up  boards and high way laws.  

In 2007 and 2008, cocaine was used by some 16 to 17 million people worldwide.the North American market, cocaine is transported from Colombia to Mexico or Central America by sea and then onwards by land to the United States and Canada.


1. el chapo : He once escaped from a high security jail by hiding in a laundry basket. But now police in Mexico hope to keep hold of el chapo. He was the leader of the Sinaloa cartel, which smuggles huge amounts of illegal drugs into the US.

2. Frank Lucas : Lucas cut out the middleman and imported heroin directly from south east Asia to the United States.In 1976 he was sentenced to 70 years in prison after being convicted of drugs charges.Five years later behind bars, having turned drugs super grass he was released and went into the witness protection program.

3. Manuel Noriega: He might have been a major drug lord but General Noriega was the CIA's drug lord. He was central to the plan to swap guns for drugs. In Miami he was tried and convicted of drug trafficking, racketeering, and money laundering, and sentenced to 30 years in prison.

4. Ismael Garcia: As one of the Sinaloa cartel leaders, Garcia is one of the biggest drug lords in the world. He imports cocaine and heroin into Chicago and other US cities by train, ship, jet and even submarine.

5. 'Freeway' Rick Ross: Many name Ross as the man responsible for the crack cocaine epidemic in America. He once claimed to be selling $3 million of crack cocaine daily. He was arrested in 1996 sell 100 kilos of coke to an undercover police officer. n 1996, Ross was sentenced to life behind bars after trying to purchase more than 100 kilograms of cocaine from a federal agent. He was released in 2009 after the sentence was reduced on appeal and because he was a model prisoner.
