The New Mandrid Earthquake

The New Mandrid earthquake happened on December 16, 1811. The New Mandrid earthquake is located at New Mandrid Missouri. Many of the residents fled there cabins and ran while the earthquake destroyed there homes. The New Mandrid  had a 8.0 magnitudeand the earthquake was formed from a convergent fault. The earthquake had aftershocks for two months and it made the river flow the other way.
