As I spoke with Mr. Pasquali, a close friend of my father, I asked him, "What one piece of advice would you give to a large group of people?" He began to tell me of a time he struggled with his job and explained to me that his mother was there for moral support. "She told me once that as cliche as it sounded, things would get better. She wanted me to focus on the positive that life was presenting me rather than the negative. Now looking back, it would've been in my best interest to do so. Such a small handful of things were going wrong, I couldn't realize how many things were going right."
