1. Egypt was divided into 2 parts, red land and black land. The red was desert land and black was fertile land among the Nile River.

2. There was an unusual ruler named Akhenaten. He tried to to change the religion, instead of worshiping many gods to worshiping just one god, Aten. He also wanted to change how the people drew.

3. They had slaves from the area.

BONUS FACT: Egypt used to be under water.

Personal Conection

I really liked the book: it had many different facts in the book. It was cool to learn new things like, how people lived thousands of years ago and my step grandma, step grandpa, and step uncle used to live in Egypt.
